Christine has loved the power of words from the time she could hold a pencil, and was making tiny illustrated books at the age of 3! This passion has remained burning in her heart all along her life journey. She obtained a degree in Psychology and then, half-way through her Honours year, promptly married a sheep farmer! Moving to the mountains (where the only minds to analyze belonged to the sheep) was an unexpected turn in her plans for the future. Removed from the hubbub of town life, her creativity blossomed and the years that followed produced a number of small businesses, including two toddler’s clothing ranges, parchment lampshades, blanket jackets to keep out the chill of the snow, decoupage gift items and you name it…
Experiencing a traumatic divorce then precipitated the need to obtain some computer skills for the job market, which proved very useful in later years, when Christine wrote and self-published a number of books and later ran her own website, where her articles could be found.
A second marriage and the challenge of raising a blended family gave plenty of opportunity to draw on her Psychology studies and Christine still considers the greatest life accomplishment to be the raising and nurturing of children who are a gift to the world. Many opportunities opened during these years to give inspirational talks to small groups, using her paintings and creative projects to add value and emphasis to her topics.
Today, Christine indulges in her passion for the written word daily as she runs her Editing and proofreading Business from home. This flexible schedule leaves her time to update her WordPress blog, rustle up products for her Nourish cosmetic range, nurture her creative talents and potter in her beloved garden.
Collaborating with Heather on LIFEBOOKS is a delightful and exciting new challenge and Christine is looking forward to helping you celebrate the amazing gift of life and love through your chosen LIFEBOOK.
